General Practice Training Scheme
Idle Medical Centre is a Training Practice. Doctors who have acquired experience through work in hospitals and who are hoping to enter family practice, spend time with us in order to gain experience in the sort of problems encountered in general practice.
As a training practice your medical records may be used for educational purposes and, because of this, we will ask you to sign a consent form when you register.
The Practice Manager is Malcolm MacDonald. The Assistant Practice Manager is Denise Barrett. The Patient Services Manager is Michelle Boguslawski.
All three can be contacted through the main surgery number, 01274 771999, and are happy to speak to patients regarding any issues they may have.

Health Care Assistants
The receptionists are here to help you, but as you will see when you visit us, their job is very demanding. They answer the telephone, deal with enquiries from all directions and process repeat prescriptions - often all at the same time! So please be patient.
Although you may not see much of them, there are secretaries and administrators working behind the scenes dealing with your medical records, referrals, post, etc.
